Daryl LaCour seems to have it all. This 40 year-old M.I.T. scientist has worked his way through a tough Boston neighborhood, a rigorous college curriculum, and has secured what seemed to be impssible; he's an African-American as lead scientist at DMSE (Department of Materials Science and Engineering). However, with all his accompishments something lurks beneath the surface. In a world where true personal connections have become non-existent, he struggles with "finding who he is".
